Motorola's upcoming budget smartphone, dubbed Moto E has been making the rounds in the rumorland for quite a while. We even saw a live image of the handset alongside the Moto G
a couple of hours ago and now, the full hardware specifications along
with the official images of the smartphone has been leaked, courtesy of a
listing from a Brazilian online retailer.
Motorola Moto E
will sport a 4.3-inch scratch resistant display. The device will be
powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with a 1.2 GHz dual-core
processor along with 1 GB of RAM. At the back, there is a 5 megapixel
camera and it looks like Motorola has scrapped the front facing shooter
in order to keep the cost down.
Furthermore, you get 4 GB of on-board storage that is expandable via
the microSD card slot by up to 32 GB. Moto E will come out with standard
connectivity options like Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth. Motorola's upcoming
smartphone measures 124.8 x 64.8 x 12.3mm and weighs 140g.
Moto E runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and according to the
listing, the smartphone is guaranteed to receive the next major Android
operating system update. Lastly, the device will pack a 1,980mAh
battery.
Motorola Moto E will be available in Black, Turquoise and Lemon color
options. Motorola is also including 3 color covers to let you
personalize your phone.
Motorola is expected to officially introduce the Moto E at its dedicated event in London on May 13. The smartphone is rumored to carry a price tag lower than that of the Moto G.
